"Weddings
are my passion." A personal note from Gail Walton Roesinger... When asked what my favorite style of design is, I reply, "My favorite style is my bride's favorite style". When I first meet with a new bride, I spend quite a bit of time just getting to know her. I ask questions about her lifestyle. I ask what she and her fiancee like to do for fun, just so I can get a sense of who they are. |

I take great pleasure in tailoring
a wedding to accurately reflect a bride's personal tastes. It's amusing
how very different and individual each bride can be. One adores gerber
daisies and the next one detests them. Many have very definite ideas of
what they want their wedding to look and feel like. They come to their
consultation armed with great files of photos torn from Martha Stewart
magazines. Others just know that they love lavender and fragrance and
leave the rest up to me. Some love Victorian opulence, while others like
a clean contemporary Zen feel. I love designing in every style. |

I never charge for consultation
time, and I make myself available for questions and concerns day and night.
Working from home gives my clients the definite advantage of my availability.
Email has revolutionized the process. It is not uncommon for me to have
over 25 email exchanges with a bride before the wedding date arrives.
There are often changes, and I am fine with that. I want my bride to have
everything her heart desires. |

I never accept more than one wedding on any given day. I believe that my clients deserve my undivided attention (it also preserves my sanity!) Once the wedding and reception sites are all set up, gorgeous and perfect, I stay to greet the bride. I help pin on the boutonnieres and corsages. If there is any last minute desire, I am there to handle it. I can't count how many times Uncle Joe has shown up unexpectedly and I was asked to make up a boutonniere on the spot. "No problem!" But my favorite part of the entire process is when I hand my bride her bouquet. Her face lights up, she nuzzles her nose into it, inhales deeply and sighs, "Oh Gail, it's absolutely perfect!" |
