Meet The Owners

Gail Roesinger Tester

Her recent marriage prompted Gail Tester to move Basket of Gold to Salt Lake City after serving the discriminating clientele of Park City for the past 20 years. Gail’s life-long love of flowers, unquenchable energy and bold creativity makes this work a perfect fit for her. On a deliberate path of simplicity, she is particularly excited about Basket of Gold’s new venture into Affordable Wedding Flower Packages. She feels good about working with couples who are choosing wisely, with regard to expenditures and still envision exquisite flowers for their special day. She’s here to tell you…It can be done! Working from their cottage studio keeps overhead low and gives this company a competitive edge!

Emily Cook Walton

Emily Walton, Gail’s daughter-in-law, started working for Basket of Gold soon after they met in 2004. Right from the start Gail was pleased with Emily’s artistic eye and inherent sense of balance and color. Her natural organic elegance shines through in her design work and in her dealings with clients. A Salt Lake City native, Emily has a work ethic that is beyond compare. She jokingly says, “It comes from my good pioneer stock!” Emily brings a youthful, vibrant and yet calming, centered energy to this partnership.
